G55,            4” outlet Vertical Pugmill                             

The 100 mm 4” Vertical Pugmill is an extremely powerful and robust extruder with the capacity to handle all types of clays.
The main body is manufactured from aluminium, with a auger also made up of individual alloy blades which can be altered to change there configurations to suit different types of clay.
The Auger is mounted through two taper thrust bearings and is driven via a flexible coupling by a 1.1 kW (1.5 Hp) helical geared motor with a final drive output of 18 rpm.
The G55 is fitted with a safety interlock switch which eliminates the need for a grid in the loading hopper, making it extremely easy to use. The pugmill is supplied with a separate nose cone that is pre-drilled to facilitate the fitting of different die plates for coil building etc.
